We foster an engaging and exciting work environment by hosting a variety of events throughout the year. Some of our favorites include Boat Tours on Lady Bird Lake, The Ruiz Amazing Race, our annual Holiday Potluck, Hot Dog Roasts and Winter Celebration. In addition we host a new-talent showcase annually where our newest stylists present a collection and launch themselves into the Austin beauty scene that celebrates their originality and taste level.

OUR CAUSES
At Ruiz Salon, we make it a priority to give back to the local community. We contribute to many non-profit organizations in the Austin area, including the Capital Area Food Bank, Safe Place, and Operation Blue Santa.
Aligned with Aveda’s mission of sustainability and wellness, health and the environment are also causes we hold close to our hearts. We participate in Aveda’s annual fundraising initiatives for charity: water, earth month, and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
We donate over $10,000 a year towards local causes and have raised over $500,000 for clean water since 2000.
