After nearly 30 years in our original West End location, we closed our Seaholm District doors in December 2025. We are so excited to create a new home in Hyde Park and welcome our new neighbors! Our Guadalupe Street salon opens Spring 2026 and carries forward everything our loyal guests have loved about Ruiz — just in a beautiful new space.

Hyde Park is the heart of central Austin, and we wanted to be closer to the residents and professionals who already call this neighborhood home. After nearly three decades on the West End, it felt like the right time to put down new roots in a community and bring our kind of Aveda luxury salon experience to Hyde Park.

Yes! The Seaholm District has plenty of convenient parking. We recommend the Seaholm garage, which is just a short walk from our front door on Walter Seaholm Drive.
