My first visit to Ruiz Salon (Seaholm location) and the whole experience was wonderful! Abby is friendly and knowledgeable, and I was immediately comfortable with her. She took time to understand my hair and styling practices, gave me an amazing quieting and relaxing shampoo massage, and was patient and skilled as she worked on my fine shoulder-length hair. As I left the salon, I felt a weight lifted, not only from my new hair style, but also from the entire experience, including the soothing and valued hand massage from Laura. I've committed to a follow-up appointment, which is rare for me to do. Thank you so much!

I had a wonderful time with my Hair Color Specialist Sam as we exchanged gentle conversation while she expertly treated my hair.The atmosphere of the Salon was comforting and very tidy. The surrounding cosmetologists were pleasant and knowledgeable which it assured me that I selected the right place for the job.I was provided a soft robe to wear in order to protect my clothes from damage, offered refreshments during the setting period, and the process of rinsing/toning my hair was quite a soothing experience.I will be back for a touch up as soon as its needed and I will be recommending this location to my friends and family. This was the best salon experience I've ever had! From silk robes, to complementary hand massages, and a great blowout, all for a very affordable price! Would definitely recommend to others.

Best salon experience. I am from Chicago, so I am used to the glitz and glam of a big city salon with the big city price tag. Ruiz salon beats out any salon in Chicago by far. From customer service, to your first consultation, to the spa like hair washing area, and amazing color and cuts! I love the prices here. I am definitely of the mind that you get what you pay for with salons and this is most definitely worth it. I am super picky and I generally let my stylist know it, but here, I don't have to say anything! It's perfect every time. Nikki is an amazing stylist and Aroosa is a color pro. I love both of them! 10/10 recommend.

grateful to adam and greg for the time they spent on my hair cut and color during my first visit to ruiz. there were some hiccups with scheduling, but adam and greg are great at what they do and made sure i was happy with my results. i don’t love aveda’s hair products and wish the salon offered other options, but overall i was happy with how everything turned out!

Can’t say enough good about Ruiz Salon. I’ve been getting my hair colored here since I was in college. Love the silky robes, hand massage, lovely shampoo experience and the quality of the colorists.

I love this salon! Everyone is so gracious and helpful. You can tell everyone likes working there! Shani does amazing color work on my hair. And last week Angela did a keratin treatment on my hair and it has changed my life! My hair is so smooth, soft, and manageable. Ruiz is the Bomb!

Greg did a PHENOMENAL job with my hair! I had an unfortunate incident with Sun-In (take it from me - don't use sun-in!!). I showed him pictures of my natural hair color pre sun-in, and he was able to treat my hair and bring me back to the natural blonde that I am. He was so patient with all of my questions and made sure we were on the same page as to what I wanted in my treatment. Overall I had an incredible experience!! Thank you, Greg!

Excellent experience all around- so glad to have had a helpful, kind conversation with Pam when I first called. She was patient with me and understood my trepidation at moving to a new city and wanting an excellent haircut to act as a “lift” for my 57 year old face :).I’m so happy that I took her advice and made an appointment with Jason. The experience was top notch, including a much needed neck massage after shampoo! Money and time well spent!

I had a service with Malory last night and love my haircut! She did a great job listening to my needs and I’m very happy with the result. Had a wonderful experience at Ruiz salon- seaholm location. Journi and Amber took phenomenal care of me... you will see in the pictures attached how drastic this cut/color was... and these two young women nailed it! Very very happy and will continue to sing their praises. I also enjoyed the culture/vibe of the salon and everyone was friendly, accommodating and made me feel welcome. I honestly can’t say enough great things about this experience. I want to mention the owner being onsite and I appreciated his interactions with his staff and his commitment to excellence! It ceases to amaze me at the friendliness of the staff and professionalism at Jackson Ruiz. Everyone is so kind to me and welcoming. Thank you for that! I continue to adore and appreciate Laken's expertise and honesty regarding my hair. Also, an unsung hero who has assisted me in the last couple of years when emergencies have come up and appointments cancelled and needing to be rescheduled is Pam! She's an unsung hero!
